XPadMouse and Meemo Notes privacy notice

These notices describe local data handling, optional licensing and update checks, and Meemo Notes local-first memo processing.

XPadMouse: what the app stores locally

XPadMouse stores preferences, onboarding state, trial/license credentials, and update settings on your Mac. Local data may include a masked license hint, activation reference, proxy session token, trial reference, and timestamps used to keep offline grace behavior predictable.

XPadMouse: trial and license checks

When you start a trial or activate a license, the app sends the minimum data needed to the XPadMouse Cloudflare Worker: license key or activation reference, machine fingerprint, app version/build, locale, and session token where applicable. The Worker talks to Polar for license activation/validation and uses Cloudflare KV/D1 for session, trial, and appcast state.

XPadMouse: machine fingerprint

The machine fingerprint is used to prevent repeated trial resets and to link trial state to one Mac. It is not used for advertising. Trial storage is designed for access control, abuse prevention, support, and operational debugging.

Meemo Notes: local-first processing

Meemo Notes keeps recordings, transcriptions, and generated memos on your device by default. The app is designed to avoid mandatory registration and does not require licensing data or subscription state.

Meemo Notes: external services

Meemo Notes sends transcript content to the CLI provider you configure (for example OpenCode or Codex) only when you request memo generation. It does not bundle external account credentials or upload device fingerprints for trial checks.

Support and deletion
